Like theBBCnews servicepublishedonFriday, October 28, 2011,the prosecutorshave beenexplainedinSAIFinthiscaseappliesthe principle ofpresumption of innocence."Wehave explainedto thedefendantthatifhegave himselfto theICC,thenhe is entitledto testifyin courtand is consideredinnocentuntilprovenguilty,"said LuisMorenoOcampo, one of theICCprosecutor.
Ocampoalso added,informallyit hadfoundthat a number ofthe messengers,offeringtomove theSAIFto the country thatare notincluded in theICCstatute."We arealso exploring the possibilitytointerceptanyaircraftin theairspaceof a countrytomake an arrest,"he said.
Somereports say,Zimbabwebecamethe country wherea manwho was rumoredthiswillcontinueto escapehis father's footsteps.It isquite reasonable, considering thatGaddafiis an ally ofZimbabweanPresidentRobertMugabe.
The ICCissued an arrest warranton charges ofmurderandSaifpersecutionin June.He allegedlyplayed aroleinthe systematicattacksecurity forcesagainst civiliansLibya'sGaddafiin February.
